Hey, I really like the idea you have going on, you should spend a bit more time on the text design, I know that can be the hard part sometimes but have a look around online for other text designs to get a bit more inspiration. The background could do with a little bit more work, more brushes etc! It's a great start and I can't wait to see the final design!

Thank you for letting me know what you think. I dont really spend much time on photoshop these days, i ma getting back into the swing of things, I will be spending a lot more time on this (using it as a new project) even if it is not used, it will still be another thing to add to the books.

I am just waiting for my graphics board to arrive and i will be doing a lot more work!

If anyone else has anything to add i am grateful of the criticism..

Both of them look reallt good but the second banner looks really good with the red text but the first one with the blue text stands out more, so if there was a way of incorporating the two together it would look brilliant such as red text with the blue around the outside of each letter. Looks very smart all the same though.

Gave it a go! i think it looks slightly better, But it is still not as creative as i would live it to be.. I am going to have to spend a couple of hours getting creative and see what i come up with

That does look better! Keep being creative and play around with the settings, if you know how to use textures, then try using them and play around with the bevel and emboss settings. Great work so far!

yeah, i cant get to grips with the mouse moving so quick, and as my Razer software wont work i cant turn down my dpi. im going to plug a silly laptop mouse in and see if i can get anything better done in the morning.

It will be changing.. I'm going to be using a different font. I have it pritty much planned out in my head what I want it to look like, just have no idea where i am actually going to start

I use photoshop. I done a course in collage for two years on using it. But lost interest after a while. wasn't something i could see myself doing for a fulltime job.

I'm now just working my way back into the swing of things again, Creating my own drawings & practising my fonts again.

still i think a header or what ever its called should be full size of the border at the top looks a little silly being smaller that the boarder :/
